Privacy Policy
This policy explains what SkinSight Labs LLC (“SkinSight”, “we”) collects when you use the SkinSight apps for Windows and macOS, the web version and this website (together, the “Service”), and the choices you have. We built SkinSight to work without accounts, so the list is short.
1. Data that stays on your device
Your locker list, tier list, wishlist and settings are saved in your device's local storage. Screenshots you import are read by on-device text recognition and are not uploaded. We cannot see this data, and deleting the app or clearing your browser storage removes it.
2. Data we receive
- Emails you send us. If you write to team@skinsight.gg, we receive your address and your message and use them to reply.
- Plus subscriptions. Payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive your email address, plan and payment status, but never your full card number.
- Basic technical logs. When the app downloads the daily Item Shop prices, our servers record the IP address, app version and time of the request for security and are deleted after 30 days.
3. What we do not collect
We never ask for your Epic Games login or password and do not connect to your Epic account. We do not use advertising trackers, sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Who we share data with
Only with service providers that host our servers, process payments and deliver email, under contracts that limit their use of the data to providing those services, and with authorities when the law requires it.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Oregon, Texas, Washington and other U.S. states, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information we hold and to receive a copy of it. Email team@skinsight.gg with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within 45 days. If we decline, you can appeal by replying to our answer, and you may contact your state attorney general. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
6. Children
The Service is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security and retention
We keep emails for up to two years after the last message and subscription records as long as tax law requires. Data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS.
8. Changes and contact
